Curious about how we do things here at Texan Airplane Store? Here are a few of our policies that help outline what can be done with your orders, how they're processed, and more!

Your order is our priority. Our policy is to ship your in-stock order within 1-2 business days of when your order is placed. In the event due to circumstances beyond our control, we cannot ship within 1-2 business days of your order, we will notify you of the delay. Orders that cannot be shipped within seven business days may be canceled without penalty for a full refund.


Orders for models not currently in stock or which are pre-ordered will be shipped within 1-2 business days of our receipt of the model from the manufacturer.

An in-stock order is defined as one that only contains models that are labeled as "In-Stock". If your order contains some models that are labeled as "In-Stock" and some labeled "Pre-Order", then your order will be shipped within 1-2 business days of our receipt of pre-ordered models.

If you would like to request that we split up your order and ship all models currently in-stock immediately while waiting for the pre-orders to arrive, you may do so by emailing

Any shipments that are returned to us due to an incorrect address will be charged a $5 reshipment fee. While we do check to make sure the address is valid before shipment, if an apartment number or similar is not noted but should be, we will not know. If you would like to change the address that your models ship to, please email us.

We inspect all models for damage and defects prior to shipping your order.

If a model is damaged during shipment to you, we will send a replacement if still in stock, free of charge. If the model is no longer in stock, we will offer a full refund. The damaged item must be returned before exchange or refund is made. A prepaid shipping label is provided for the return. You must notify us by email of the damage within three days of delivery of your order. A photo of the packaging and damaged product must be included with your email before a return label is sent.

Damages to a product is defined as detached or broken parts of any kind, including missing wheels, bent or missing wings, or dents in the body of the aircraft.


We sell models from quality manufacturers to deliver to you the best models available on the market. Die-cast models are not perfect. We accept returns of models with clearly visible manufacturing defects, such as missing parts or chipped paint. We do not accept returns for models with minor flaws which are not visible under normal lighting and viewing conditions.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • landing gears or engines not center aligned

  • landing gear or engine blades that do not spin

  • models that are tail heavy

  • models that are not identical to the real-life equivalent aircraft

The decision on whether to permit a return based on claim of manufacturing defect is solely at the discretion of Texan Airplane Store.

If you are unhappy with your purchase of non-damaged, non-defective models, you may return the item to us at your own expense for a refund of the purchase price only, less a 20% restocking fee. All merchandise must be returned in new condition, in its original packaging, and undamaged, in order to qualify for a refund. Please contact us by email for return authorization within seven days of receipt of your order. Shipping costs are not refundable for these types of returns.

Orders of models not currently in stock will be shipped within 1-2 days of receipt of the model from the manufacturer. We will notify you of anticipated shipment date of any not-in-stock models when the shipping information is received from the manufacturer. If a model becomes out-of-stock from the manufacturer while your order is pending, you will have the option of a refund or credit towards another model.


When an order is marked as a pre-order, this means that the manufacturer will release the model and ship it to us for order fulfillment, usually within a couple of weeks after their announcement. An estimated arrival date is posted, but it may change at any time based on what the manufacturer decides. We cannot guarantee a shipment date on pre-orders, as this is not within our control. Your model will be shipped within 1-2 business days after we receive our shipment from the manufacturer.

If you'd like to cancel any part of your purchase of pre-ordered models, you may with no additional cost to you. We will never charge a restocking fee for pre-ordered models in the event of a cancellation.
